The self-adhesive tapes are used in many applications and are therefore designed and implemented taking into account the end use. However, by its very nature, a self-adhesive tape is suitable for use in totally different applications to those for which it was designed. In such cases, specific technical tests must be carried out, useful to verify the suitability of the tape for that use.
